The Middle East is not all desert. From Qatar’s flatland, to Lebanon’s lush mountains, to Yemen’s rough terrain, the region is as varied as its people. Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, is nestled inside a ring of mountains, and leaving it in any direction can be a rough ride. This road west can be nerve-racking with the dangerous driving that usually takes place, but the brave are rewarded with magnificent and serene views.
