Thais are going to the polls next month, and so there’s lots of campaigning on the streets of Bangkok. This poster of a snickering monkey appeared recently urging Thais “not to put animals in parliament,” according to a translation by the Bangkok Post.
I asked a man on the sidewalk what the poster meant. He laughed and said, “It’s a marketing campaign. It says, ‘Don’t vote for animals’.”
