While I know that Islam is quite flexible and many of things followed by the muslim converts are not quite obligatory in Islam, however, I do understand why those convert take things to the extreme in such a manner for I interacted with many of them in Canada. There’s a spiritual emptiness inside their souls and they seek fill that emptiness by taking things to the extreme. It is worth mentioning that they do it out of choice and strongly believe in it! Regardless of what I think of the whole thing but I really admire their determination!
